This is a lovely property at the quiet end of the main hub of the town, right across from the beach. Set apart by the welcome and helpful hosts, who genuinely want each guest to enjoy their stay. Small apartments with daily servicing, well appointed. Very tranquil and recommended
My husband and I needed a well deserved break. The Peninsula is set up to make a holiday so easy. From the beautiful accommodation (some with cooking facilities) to a laundry on the two upper levels, amazing staff, lap pool with areas to relax at the side, boutique restaurant on site, views of the sea, netted/patrolled ocean swimming area across the road, beach walks, main street 2 minutes away with shopping, cafes, restaurants and marina 10 minutes walk away with trips to the reef. Romantic, relaxing, busy...whatever you feel like! We'll be back for longer next year.
My husband and I stayed here for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We loved it from the moment we arrived and were warmly greeted by the staff. The hotel was very personal and had lots of extra little touches that you don't get at the larger resorts. The location was amazing with a stroll across the road to the beach and 5 minutes to the main shopping strip and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The staff were informative and friendly and we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
The Peninsula Hotel staff were warm and friendly and helped to make our stay enjoyable. The ideal location, with views of 4 Mile Beach was peacful, and yet just across the road from the busy Macrossen Street restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this hotel to Port Douglas holiday makers.
